FANTASIA
Fantasia is a collection of surreal collage art and acrylic paintings filled with dreamscape imagery and sound. Drew Taylor and Albany Sutherland will be presenting hand-cut collages, Dianne Twombly presenting digital collages, Caitlyn de Groot presenting acrylic paintings, and Dani Ramez presenting sound. This collection uses and was inspired by various historic elements including vintage magazines, books, photography, and family history all using surreal ideas to tell a story through our own lens.

What is B•SIDE
B-SIDE is a DIY art and music space located within FARSIDE on James Street North.
It is a space for anyone and everyone to use. We lean toward the weird & the wonderful.
B-SIDE is open 7 days a week, 6pm-2am
Who runs B•SIDE
Currently B-SIDE is being run by Rachel & Mike, who own and operate FARSIDE. Mike is an artist, and Rachel has a background in arts administration, organizing exhibitions and operating a music venue. B-SIDE is our passion project.
We do not charge rental fees, take commissions or take a door percentage from art or music shows. We are striving to do our best, but we had a baby recently and are a little sleep deprived, please be patient with us.
How to utilize the space
We are booking out the space for visual art & music. If you wish to utilize B-SIDE, you can email us at FarsideHamilton@gmail.com. For visual art shows, please also fill out this form so we can review your show idea.The space is open to anyone 19+ to use. Not every show is the right fit for the space so we reserve the right to choose the shows based on the time we have available and what is the right fit for the space. Please note that it is an unpolished DIY space and will require your effort for a successful show. B-SIDE is open to experienced and amateur organizers. The space is not available for pop-ups or sales.
