OPENING ... SOME DAY!
The pandemic squashed our goals of opening summer 2020, but we're on our way to serving you when this lockdown lifts.
We (Rachel & Mike) moved to Hamilton in 2019 and we are really excited to participate in this great community on James Street North. Thanks for your patience and support. We're pumped to sling some drinks for you soon.
LETS GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER
FARSIDE Hamilton is the new kid sister to FARSIDE Toronto, which opened in Toronto's China Town East in summer 2016. Farside is a husband & wife duo, Mike Reynolds & Rachel Conduit. You may have visited Rachel other bars, The Avro on Queen East, or Handlebar in Kensington Market.
FARSIDE is a local bar, open 7 days a week, until 2am (when there isn't a global pandemic going on).
We serve great craft beers, affordable domestics and classic cocktails. We strongly believe a bar should be for anybody and everybody, from all walks of life. We plan on hosting the occasional show and drag performance, and commissioning artists to create exhibits in our front window.
If you like VHS tapes and nachos, we'll get along just fine. Can't wait to meet you! thx for checking us out.
288 James Street North (at Barton) Hamilton Ontario
